Leverage your expertise and join our mission by exploring our career opportunities As an SAP database expert (Software Engineer IV) for Performance Improvement, you will participate in a performance improvement program as part of the product development team for our solution i.s.h.med. i.s.h.med is a leading EHR platform with an installed base in 37 countries and more than 400K users every day. The performance improvement program will work very closely with our clients to identify performance bottlenecks within the solution, feed the information back to IP and manage quarterly performance improvement initiatives to continuously improve performance for our clients. You will analyze performance bottlenecks from a database / data access perspective on client implementations and identify potential solutions to improve the performance, including the replacement of traditional database access via ABAP with native HANA techniques. You will also work mutually with the solution architects and product development teams to propose ways to improve the overall performance of the products and in some cases participate in IP projects to realize those improvements. You will need to develop benchmarks on which performance improvements can be measured and improvements will be measured against those benchmarks. Furthermore you will work mutually with the product owners topresent accomplishments and collect feedback from stakeholders inside and outside of our organization.

Qualifications : Basic qualifications: Bachelors degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, or 4 years equivalent relevant work experience 5 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job, including; 3 years of Software Engineering experience Fluent in English. Preferred qualifications: Experience in: ABAP ABAP Objects SAP HANA CDS Views Data base optimization Experience with performance tracing / enhancement SAP Basis knowledge Working experience with agile development principles German language skills Expectations: Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations; Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
