Ensure full compliance in respect of the group policies, risk management and underwriting standards, with any approved adaptations for the regional markets and product variations Collaboration:
Work in partnership with business stakeholders for the various product lines and regional markets to understand the dynamics and landscape of the market in providing support for the business through timely delivery of services Business / Functional Interfaces:
Collaborating with Product Management team, Pricing, Actuarial, and other support teams in ensuring successful development of new products in accordance with the group product development process. Thisincludes providing constructive evaluation of commercial practicalities and impact on operational platforms Policy and Contract Wording:
Preparation of policies and other product terms/conditions in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Additionally,
ensuring commercial contracts reflect agreed underwriting approaches. Reporting:
Ensure regular and transparent reporting to executive management team and functional managers.The Successful Applicant Minimum 7 years experience in Underwriting Extensive Accidental and Health and/or Consumer and Speciality line Underwriting experience Demonstrated ability in advising organisations and teams on approaches to adapt to underwriting trends Strong ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business Exceptional attention to detail, and has the ability to analyse information to identify problems and develop appropriate solutionsWhats on Offer Key strategic role in underwriting and product development Opportunity to step up to a regional leadership role Background Check:
