OUP, the leading global ELT publisher, is seeking highly motivated Educational Consultant (focus in developing new customers) to add its Peru team based in Lima .

About the position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and the purpose of this job is to carry out promotional activities interacting directly with customers to explore their need and wants, build trust, and promote a compelling solution based on OUP’s portfolio of products and services so that existing accounts are maintained and expanded, and new ones are developed on behalf of OUP UK/ the local distributor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new users, their focus is to reach out to potential customers exploring their needs as to position relevant and compelling solutions and secure new adoptions on behalf of OUP UK / the local distributor.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect target institutions virtually and physically
  • Organize and execute an account-based activity plan to manage effective interactions with assigned accounts, be a solution provider giving OUP a competitive edge in order to achieve and possibly exceed targets
  • Establish and manage high quality customer relationships by conducting conversations with key decision makers to understand their business needs, and strategically promote an efficient and effective solution to help their organization reach their goals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling professional presentations to customers that are relevant to their needs, using existing OUP assets and resources available.
  • Actively provide information on customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities via line management to give strong insights for strategy setting
  • Continuously develop and improve portfolio and market knowledge, communication and promotional skills and tools through self-learning and active participation in training programmes
  • Carry out daily data update routines to agreed Data Quality levels
  • Contribute to a great team spirit and high performing team
  • Adhere to OUP Ethical Policies

The job-holder does not have authority to negotiate or enter into any contracts or agreements on behalf of OUP UK and is not authorized to act as the agent for OUP UK. The jobholder shall refer all draft terms with distributors to OUP UK.

This is a full-time role. Travelling will be required.

  • Presentation skills (ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs)

  • Valid driver's license

Desirable :

  • Customer service and/or promotion experience
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English
