Your field of responsibility
  • Leading a team of data management specialists located in Poland
  • Driving Central Data Management team coordination activities for all IWM locations (EMEA and LATAM)
  • Running the Business as Usual process for IWM CDO
  • Coordinating with the data managers in the international locations on business as usual data topics such as data quality process tracking, data quality measurement implementation, KPIs tracking, etc.
  • Responsible for regulatory tracking and attestation coordination (GDPR, BCBS 239, etc.)
  • Interfacing with CDO departments of the Group and different banks divisions (SUB/GM/IBCM/APAC) and corporate functions (CCO/CRO/CFO/etc.)
  • Jointly with IT and business, devising architectural solutions to data problems
  • Managing the hiring process for the data management specialist in Poland
  • Assisting managers from other locations in hiring processes in Poland (coordination of the process with a manager and HR department, Credit Suisse onboarding, etc.)
  • Site management for resources reporting to managers located abroad

The Chief Data Officer (CDO) department of the International Wealth Management division is providing an interesting opportunity to shape the Data Governance in an international division in Switzerland and abroad. The Data Management team is not only responsible for the data strategy and its implementation (including data storage, data quality profiling, etc.), but also for the execution of regulatory projects such as BCBS 239 and local data protection implementation. A close collaboration with multiple partners of other divisions and countries is key to enable, support, and provide a holistic data management framework.

Your skills and experience
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proficiency in English (any other language is a plus)
  • At least 3 years of proven managerial experience
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in the financial sector within project management/change, data governance or data-related work fields in consulting, data science, IT, or business intelligence
  • Experienced in data regulations (GDPR, BCBS 239, etc.)
  • Demonstrate interest in analyzing business processes, data flows, and defining and implementing data management concepts
  • Highly motivated to work in project teams and an agile work environment
  • Have a high sense of responsibility and independent working practice, showing initiative and a high level of reliability
  • Proven ability to manage work effectively under pressure
