Senior Tech Lead - Job Description
As a Senior Tech Lead, you will be part of a unit of highly skilled individuals. You will primarily work with implementing GCP Centre of Excellence best practices.

You will have to develop a broad knowledge base of common cloud solutions, interact with customers, and support your junior team members. It's a customer-facing role, so you must be outgoing and confident in your ability to interact with clients, manage workshops, and execute necessary training on your own.
Primary Daily ResponsibilitiesPrimary daily responsibilities include:
- Develop disaster recovery rehearsals and infrastructure automation in Terraform
- Implement best practices for monitoring, troubleshooting, debugging, and load testing of cloud
- Contribute to the RFIs for GCP Managed Services
- Support the team to deliver top-notch and innovative managed services in Google Cloud
- Second-line engineering support for Managed Services customers by answering questions on their environment, running playbooks, and having a deep understanding of Google Cloud products and how it can impact their systems
Secondary responsibilities include:
- Proposing viable long-term, cost-effective cloud solutions for customers
- Developing (script and code) solutions for customers
- Delivering technical training and workshops for customers
- Contributing to the Devoteam proprietary MSP Command Centre portal and other internal tools
- Suggesting and developing our own services based on GCP
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
- Working experience with GCP or another public cloud provider
- Experience in one or more development languages, such as Python, Go, or Bash
- Experience in scripting and configuration of Linux and Windows systems
- Experience in API, REST, RPC, and microservices design
- Experience with technologies like Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence/Hunting, IAM, Workload Protection, Encryption
- Practical experience with Terraform for GCP will be a huge asset
- Practical experience from Public Cloud Managed Service Provider will be a big asset
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
