The Opportunity We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking risk manager to join our established and growing team in Lima. Project: As the United Kingdom Delivery Team (UKDT) enters its 4th year of working alongside the Peruvian Government in the delivery of over $5Bn of social and flood infrastructure, we are expanding! This year we are supporting our client deliver a 5-fold increase in the volume of works compared to the previous year, with construction starting on 7 city drainage schemes, 17 river defence projects, and unique reforestation and early warning systems projects. We are looking for ambitious and dynamic Project Managers with a background in large civil projects/programs who are hungry for their next challenge. Your Responsibilities Will Include: - Reporting to the integrated solutions sector lead. - Directing and supporting on all integrated solutions risk and issues management activities. - Providing insight and mentoring for risk and issue processes and management techniques. - Liaising with the delivery and technical assurance teams and program leadership to ensure that the approach to risk and issues is consistency and uniform across the program. - Driving continual improvement in the client’s approach to, and execution of, risk and issues management. - Monitoring and improving the client’s focus and response to risk and issue actions. - Providing support and assurance to the PMO for integrated solution matters, including quality of risk reporting in the program systems. About You You have relevant experience in the development, implementation and management of risk management methodology, procedures and processes within a construction project environment as well as corporate environment. You have relevant risk and/or project management experience working on major programs/projects. You have significant experience with risk management software, a robust commercial acumen with experience in managing risk within contractual frameworks. You are analytical and numerate and have influencing and negotiating skills. You have a strong client focus and effective written and interpersonal skills. You are a relationship builder. It is desired that you are bilingual and proficient in the use of RiskHive. You have good knowledge of risk assessment and quantitative risk analysis, as well as international and/or risk experience in various industries. You have relevant degree qualification and experience in a similar role and it is desired that you are a member of, or working towards, RICS, APM, CIOB or equivalent relevant professional qualification. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated construction teams.
