Job Overview
ING Financial Markets (FM) is looking for a new member to join its Corporate Sales team in Singapore. Focus will be on new client origination and servicing of existing clients. You will be promoting INGs capabilities in areas like Foreign Exchange, Rates, Commodities and provide hedging ideas and solutions to our corporate clients.
Key responsibilities
Develop and maintain a business relationship with existing and potential clients in collaboration with the Sector coverage bankers
Create, identify,
evaluate and explore commercial opportunities for existing and prospective clients. Target an increase in FM share of wallet, with due consideration to the clients as well as ING (FM)s interests
Build effective relationships with Treasurers or Treasury Managers of our clients and improve the customer experience
Actively involved in client pitches, credit approval process ofFM limits, completing FM documentations like ISDA and setting up of relevant FM systems during the client onboarding stage
Drive utilisation of FM limits and client profitability by working closely with other FM sales and trading colleagues and other internal stakeholders
Advise clients on hedging solutions by incorporating ING macro research views and outlook
Key competencies
To be considered for this role, you should ideally possess the following pre:
requisites:
Degree holder with minimum 8 years of Financial Markets sales experience in a financial institution
Strong knowledge of Financial Markets products is essential, including FX and Rates derivatives Knowledge in commodities will be an advantage
Good understanding of regulations that impact the bank or our clients
Fluent in English; Mandarin speaking ability will be an advantage
Experience in covering and transacting with Chinese clients will be an advantage
A strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive, self:
driven, confident, with an enterprising and can do attitude
