Selina was born out of a desire to celebrate the nomadic lifestyle: to experience our planet's most beautiful places, to build community, to engage with locals and fellow travellers, and to work and enjoy new adventures.What the role isAs a Head of Growth you will be an entrepreneur in your territory, and find the best properties that can meet Selinas requirements (target audience, in the relevant area, provide Selina experience) What will you be doingLead the near: term and long: term real estate growth strategy in your territoryResponsible for sourcing potential deals and building pipelines in your territoryBuild Financial models and underwrite transactions including a collection of market data and benchmarkingBuild detailed P and Ls, materials, presentations and forms for deals that need to be approved internally and which is required for executive approval (Pre: investment committee, investment committee, etc)Manage communication between all parties involved in a deal (brokers, landlords, legal team, engineers, architects etc)Work closely and communicate clearly with country teams with regard to the progress of deals in the territoryLead transactions through different stages (from negotiations to due diligence and closing ) and follow up on various stakeholdersCollaborate with Global and Regional Growth, Finance, Concept, Operations and Revenue Managementteams to initiate and streamline processesSecure financing for deals (banks, funds, investors), Source locals partners and investors and build relevant materialsMaintain relationships with owners and investorsWhat you need for the role7: 9 years of experience in professional services (consulting, investment banking, or project management) and/or real estate (acquisitions, real estate analysis, real estate research, underwriting, or corporate real estate)Vast knowledge of the Region and territoryDeep understanding of the Investment Committee and Underwriting process for a fast: paced real estate company focused on hotelsHighly motivated and willing to train, invest, and developMust be detail: oriented and keen on digging into numbers and variancesResourceful and relentless: Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in ambiguous situationsLeading communication and presentation skills, verbal and writtenExcels under pressure; ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast: paced environmentBA/BS degree; major in business, finance, real estate and/or economics preferredWhat can you expectPerformance bonusNo dress codePet: friendly (as long as your pet is friendly)Cultural events and wellness activities at Locations.
