Who are we looking for?

We are actively searching for a qualified Maintenance Planner with a solid industrial background and expertise in planning, estimating, and scheduling maintenance activities to join our team at one of our refining facilities.

In this pivotal role, your main responsibilities will encompass the meticulous planning, vigilant monitoring, and effective control of progress in alignment with specified measurement criteria and a comprehensive work breakdown structure. Your duties will extend to supporting the production of detailed reports, which will include progress curves delineating current developments, comprehensive descriptions of outcomes, and forecasts for future tasks. Collaborative coordination with planning and scheduling functions will be a key aspect of your role, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency in our maintenance operations.

Qualifications
    • Have at least 10 years of experience in planning maintenance for industrial settings.
    • High school certification is required, but having a bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
    • Be good at figuring out all the things needed for each maintenance job, like materials, services, and equipment.
    • Knowing how to use SAP is a must.
    • Be skilled in using MS Office.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Use your knowledge in various SAP transactions to perform regular planner duty that includes, but is not limited to, opening/initiating internal orders, notifications, maintenance work-orders, planning the activities with required resources, ordering the materials, and track all maintenance activities within your respective area.
  • Plan for equipment isolation and safety precautions and estimate job step craft man-hour requirements.
  • Prepare weekly and daily schedules by reviewing backlog and coordinating work requirements to comply with operation rankings.
  • Ensure availability of all resources required are met and available, prior to scheduling work, and obtain approval of the schedule updates maintenance order statuses & follows up until completion of orders.
  • Monitor the progress of the maintenance on a daily basis and give feedback to maintenance supervisor and supporting the execution team.
  • Ensure the history is updated and technically completed on all works orders prior to closing them.
  • Ensure onsite availability of all materials, manpower and service requirements.
  • Process the return of all support equipment and machines (i.e. crane, forklift, air compressor, flood glitch, etc.)
  • Daily contact/coordination with concerned parties that includes Operations Foremen, Maintenance Supervisors and personnel to clarify work scopes on Maintenance Work Orders, required resources, status update, and the path forward.
  • Prepare detailed job step plans in proper execution sequence, with details of craft man-hour and crew size requirements for each step.

THE STAGES OF THIS PROCESS ARE:

1. Resume Evaluation:

If your resume evaluation is not suitable, you will be receiving an e-mail notification in 2-3 days.

2. Interviews Stage:

2.1 LHR Americas preliminary phone/video interview: A member of the Talent Acquisition team from LHR Americas will first schedule a call with you to discuss the details of the position, your interests, and qualifications. Furthermore, your English level will be evaluated at this stage, ONLY native or advanced speakers will approve this evaluation.

If this preliminary phone/video interview is successful, your resume will be submitted to our client.

If your preliminary phone/video interview is not successful, our Talent Acquisition consultant will inform you.

2.2 Client Face to Face interview: This interview will happen only if your resume is approved by our client, we cannot guarantee the time our client will take to approve your resume, but it should take less than a week.

If your resume is approved a member of the Talent Acquisition Team will get back to you and schedule a face-to-face meeting in a defined location. You will be told to go to the location.

The client interview contains technical questions that help assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field and may include a behavioral evaluation. Be prepared to explain how you approach problems and produce solutions.

If your face-to-face interview is successful, the hiring team will further evaluate your resume, decide, and then receive a conditional job offer.

If your face-to-face interview is not approved, LHR Americas will inform you.

2.3 There could be additional video interviews with hiring managers, which may also contain technical questions that help us assess your familiarity with problem-solving in your given field.

3. Conditional Offer:

A successful interview may result in a conditional offer of employment.

Conditions for employment include but are not limited to medical examinations, and permission to secure a visa to work and reside in-country.
