- Should hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and registered with Board of Engineers or equivalent.
- Min of 8 years experience.
- Experience in Piping & Plant Layout Design in Oil & Gas Production and Processing Facilities.
- Experience in all aspect of piping engineering and layout design throughout project development lifecycle i.e from Appraise to Execute.
- Extensive experience in a position of Supervising Contractors during the detailed design, fabrication, installation and commissioning phase.
- Understanding of legislative requirements relating to offshore facilities in Malaysia with respect to Piping.
- Extensive experience with Piping requirements and writing of work packages for offshore applications.
- Familiar with all aspect of Safety in Design including HAZOP, HAZID, QRA and Hazard quantification.
- Experience in cost estimation, tendering, and procurement activities of piping components and expediting vendors and contractors.
- Experience in various stages of a facility development from conceptual, FEED, detail engineering, construction, installation & commissioning.
- Knowledge of stress analysis and PDMS is an advantage.
- Ability to supervise and work in team environment.
- Proficient computer skills with modern day PC applications.
- Excellent supervisory, communication and presentation skills including oral and written reporting and organization management.
