Job Responsibilities
- Drive the monthly close & cost accounting process of the product cost of the business
- Performs maintenance of the ERP system to support accumulation of cost accounting data
- Maintain controls in accordance with GAAP and company policies
- Follow GAAP procedures
- Handle all cost accounting responsibilities, monitoring and analysis of production costs’ variances
- Prepare journal entries, schedules and analysis in accordance with GAAP
- Participation in the Management Accounting month end close process
- Play an active role in the SAP implementation of the Plant
- Liaise with Auditors and Tax Agents on statutory requirements
Job Requirements
- Possess at least a ACCA/ Degree in Accountancy/ Diploma with CA certification or equivalent
- 3-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in SAP R3 or S4, those with experience in SAP implementation has an added advantage
- Knowledge of US GAAP and cost accounting is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications e.g. Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Able to start around March 2023
