Vice President of Business Development for California: based Media Company Our client, an established LA: term strategic goals, building key client relationships, increasing brand awareness, identifying business opportunities and leading our financial growth. You will negotiate and close new contracts while maintaining extensive knowledge of the current market landscape and key players. The individual must bean experienced business development professional with a track record of success in a relevant setting (creative agency or production company). You must have exemplary interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to develop strong working relationships with brands (both big and small) and creative agencies. Requirements A minimum of 7: 10 years of experience in business development or sales for a creative agency or production company. Existing relationships with brands is a MUST. The ability to identify, develop, build, manage and deliver business development sales targets. The ability to perform competitor and SWOT analysis. A demonstrated history of generating leads and converting those leads into sales. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Great listening skills and great persuasive communication skills. Great follow up and follow through. Strong time management and organizational skills. Strong selling and client presentation skills. Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills. An ambitious, self: starter mindset and a demeanor thats outgoing, resilient, and persistent. An ability to think strategically and constantly create new ways to add value. A demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize work, and handle multiple tasks, frequently with short time: lines. The ability to use the Google suite of products.
