DUTIES : Job holder is responsible for the property book control, records and inspections of counter narcotics parts, materials and equipment with an approximate value of $35M. EUM (end-use monitoring program) Property book Technician will assist in the development and implementation of internal controls regarding all data entry of the International Narcotics Law Enforcement Issues section (INL) property and will coordinate and participate in inspections and inventories concerning INL property and EUM at approximately 300 sites nationwide. Also responsible for recording of INL materials for disposal, excess and/or inoperative materials including counterpart donated materials. Job holder will at times oversee one to two inventory assistants during property book inventories/inspections. Incumbent splits work week between in an Embassy-leased office/warehouse/hangar complex within a Peruvian Air Force base located 17 miles away from the Embassy, and Embassy Lima. The incumbent will be under the direct supervision of the Property Book Supervisor.

EXPERIENCE : Three years of progressively responsible logistics/supply experience including experience with electronic inventory equipment is required.

Must have a valid driver’s license for automobiles and light trucks and at least five years of driving experience.

EDUCATION : Two years of college/post-secondary studies is required.

A valid driver’s license is required with at least 5 years of issuance.
