Technical Support Engineer

Your day to day work: Provide technical support to Egnytes clients and partners Provide support primarily via e: mail (from time to time also via phone and web conferencing tools) Work effectively and professionally with users who span from IT, business users, partners and executives Provide a workable solution that addresses client issues based on their use case Work with Product Management, Engineering and Sales to effectively take issues to resolution Participate in testing of new and updated products and provide feedback Write technical documents such as service and product FAQs, guides, and manuals About You: Experience in Windows 10 and Linux (any distribution) Proficiencywith Microsoft Office products Excellent customer engagement, presentation, and communication skills Familiarity with Support Ticket, Call Center, and Knowledge: Based Systems Fluency of spoken and written command of English Previous experience in end: Familiar with network protocols, services, tools, and troubleshooting methods Bonus points if you have: Understanding of Directory Services including Microsoft ADS and Open LDAP Familiarity with Virtual Machine Environment (ie.
