Deputy Chief E/e Engineer

The Role Working as part of a truly global team, the Deputy Chief Engineer for E/E Architecture will take overall responsibility to deliver E/E architecture to the vehicle line. The key in this challenge will be to lead the team to design, specification and evaluate the E/E architectures and network topologies to support current and future products. Your tasks will include: ? Liaise, support and lead the team(s) during development, validation and launch phases. ? Key window person and lead into UK based organisation to ensure requirements met. ? Solving launch issues for other business units / car lines. ? Support implementing department? s structure, E/E development processes like FunctionRelease Steps and Functional Safety, Test & Validation and others. ? Inspiring and motivating the top management about the necessity of Functional Safety. ? Overall responsibility to deliver E/E architecture to the vehicle line ? Evaluation of E/E architectures based on specific criteria (qualitative and tool based) ? Derive E/E requirements and specifications ? Manage key delegated elements along the CE The Person Having taken a complete vehicle electrical and electronic architecture from concept through to launch and defined and delivered the complete E/E project; you will have a reputation for doing this with the full engagement of your direct reports and peers. This role will be a challenge like no other and because of that, we are looking for a minimum of 20 years? experience within the Automotive E/E Development.
