We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to play a vital role in establishing a new workforce and HR program at Bradken Chilca . This role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, including the development of HR policies, procedures, and processes, implementing onboarding and training programs, employee relations and labor law, developing templates and documents, and managing HR metrics.

As the HRBP for South America, you will report to the HR Business Partnership Lead located in Canada. In this role, you'll collaborate with local leaders at our Chilca manufacturing site to achieve optimal people-related results aligned with Bradken's business objectives.

During the initial phase of site setup, you will collaborate with other functions to arrange employer-provided support services for employees, including transportation, meal programs, and uniforms. You will also play a pivotal role in driving leadership performance, working closely with People Leaders, and Front-Line Leaders to ensure competent and engaged employees committed to enhancing performance in the areas such as Safety and Quality. Your influence will extend across the entire employee lifecycle, from attraction to exit from the business.

Key Criteria :

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in an HRBP, Manager, or Supervisor role, preferably in a similar heavy engineering, manufacturing, or mining industry, would be highly beneficial.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish. (Proficient in English is a Must-Have requirement and will be evaluated)
  • Proficient knowledge of local employment standards and legislation.
  • Experience in employee relations, local employment standards, labor laws, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Expert in diagnosing issues, crafting innovative people solutions, and change management.
  • Proficient knowledge of industrial relations legislative framework and ER strategies.
  • Experience in a unionized environment is desirable to have.
  • Results-oriented, strong communication, critical thinking, and autonomous Skills.

This role, based in Lima, offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work from home and commute to our Bradken site in Chilca when required. Bradken strongly promotes flexible working.
