Drive strong Risk and Compliance Management practices
Ensure operational risk framework is implemented; Risk control self:
Assessment is performed, control testing is completed, risk indicators are established, and all incidents are properly recorded in the risk management system. Ensure risk register is updated to reflect latest applicable laws/regulations and changes in business processes and risk profile.
Ensure Compliance framework is implemented, all regulatory breaches are reported, root cause analysis performed, and mitigation actions are tracked to completion.
For control gaps,
ensure action plans are appropriate, prioritized, sustainable and that action plans are closed by the committed due date.
Champion process improvement initiatives to ensure simplification and efficiency of processes.
Act as the central liaison/contact person between Group Compliance/Group ORM and the respective Business and Support Units/Branches/Subsidiaries in relation to all risk and compliance matters;
Ensure the internal Policies and Procedures and or/Standard Operating Procedures are updated to address laws/regulations/guidelines issued, wherever relevant/applicable;
Discuss with and obtain approval from the Head of Department on all regulatory non:
Compliance issues before reporting incorporating them in the bank's reporting system;
Review and follow:
Up on any non:
Compliance regulatory and operational issues escalated within the respective Business and Support Units/Branches/Subsidiaries for appropriate closure;
Provide on:
Going compliance and operationalrisk awareness training as required.
Detail oriented,Confidential understand monthly risk and compliance analytics and trends, to produce value added monitoring and update reports to management
Ensure that the Group Compliance and Group ORM Policy, law/regulations/guidelines including any updates, are communicated, read and understood by all staff with the respective Business and Support Units/Branches/Subsidiaries;
Obtain the declaration from new employees as and when they join within their Business and Support Units/Branches/Subsidiaries and retain the same for review by Group Compliance/GIAD/regulators as and when they deem fit;
Participate in ad:
Hoc activities and projects as required.
Champion Strong Risk Culture and Awareness
Collaborate across various stakeholder groups, determine best methods of communication and establish escalation model.
Provide guidance as needed to support the business in managing their risks.
