General Description :The Production Coordinator will be responsible for all production administration related activities through the Company’s centrally located production team.

Reports to :Production Manager

Job Summary**: The Production Coordinator is responsible for a wide variety of administration activities that assist in ensuring quality and integrity with all Company product, begin the production process, and finalize it by ensuring the highest level of integrity, quality and accuracy is produced.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

  • Receive Work Orders from Sales Support team and Production Manager
  • Create and assign Production Orders within our ERP system
  • Allocate inventory based on designed formulations
  • Update formulations for custom jobs
  • Product accurate labels/tags for output product following Federal & State laws
  • Assist in inter-company transfers for production component needs
  • Assist in customer retest/retag process
  • Assist in Inventory Quality Control
  • Seed testing
  • Seed tagging
  • Quality management
  • Lab correspondence
  • Under direction of designated Production Line Lead
  • Work cooperatively with fellow production administration members and the production warehouse teams to meet goals
  • Work with other location managers as needed
  • Work with Outside Sales Team members
  • Follow all written and verbal instructions
  • Maintain clean and safe work area
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Education & Experience: Minimum of high school degree and one to three years of relevant office and customer service experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Skills :

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as legal documents regarding Federal and State seed regulations, custom formulations, and updates.
  • Flexible and positive attitude with an eagerness to learn new functions.
  • Ability to make calculations, specifically percentages and basic algebra equations.

Preferred :

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite packages.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision.
