About The Role - 19830 - Specialist - Field Support Cyanide (Lima, Peru) : This Specialist Field Support role is a newly created and key role in the Global Cyanide business within the Mining Chemicals vertical.

The purpose of the role is to support the Cyanide Transfer Station and Sparge assets across engineering, operations, training, and incident response.

The role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining global standards, procedures and any other related informational material for these cyanide assets and working closely with the relevant regional stakeholders to ensure that the assets are being appropriately managed and that our Sparge customers are well supported.

What you will be doing :

  • The establishment of a Transfer Station and Sparge documentation repository and regular maintenance of documents, as required
  • The identification of key internal stakeholders and the nurturing of these relationships
  • The training of internal stakeholders for Transfer Station and Sparge standards, procedures, and any other related informational material, across engineering, operations, training, and incident response
  • The training support for external customers
  • The engineering and commercial support for new sparge customer proposals
  • The project management support for new sparge customer builds

What you will bring :

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical
  • Proven focus on safety and environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
  • Ability to work in multi-functional and multi-cultural teams
  • Proven ability to influence a wide array of stakeholders
  • Passion for global travel

Your qualifications :

  • Mining and/or Chemicals industry experience; preferably experience with cyanide
  • Engineering experience
  • Possess unquestioned reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values and solid character
  • Builds the trust of others both internally and externally
  • Exude confidence, yet be without strong ego needs; is self-aware and open to feedback
  • Naturally inquisitive mind
