Job DescriptionThe International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a dynamic Grants and Contracts Specialist to mainly support the coordination of the portafolio of the One CGIAR Initiatives at CIP Globally. About the role: award phase of the project life cycle.The position will be based in Lima, Peru and will report to the Head of the Grants and Contracts Unit. Key responsibilities: Support the creation of tools for adequate set: up and post: award management of CIP projects under CGIAR initiatives and work packages: compliance matrix, forms to document original allocation of funds and changes, templates for subgrant agreements and scope of work, contractual guidelines, checklists, etc. Support the review of CGIAR initiatives' subgrantee (partner) award transactions and collaboration agreements, in co: ordination with other functional areas such as PI, PMU, Finance, Legal/Intellectual Property, Administration and/or POD for internal clearance and approval.Support documentation of change management transactions.Maintain up: to: date database and repository of contractual transactions related to CGIAR initiatives in OCS ERP and/or Knowledge Management GnC public and internal sites and PMU Project sites in coordination with GnC System Officer.Prepare GnC presentations with contractual information and participate in start: up meetings to identify actions related to project partners (duediligence, capacity building, input to be considered in subgrant agreements, etc.).Participate in project life cycle reviews and meetings; and support transactions related to bilateral projects, when neededply with national and international health and safety laws, regulations and standards.RequirementsWhat are we looking for? Bachelors degree in International Development, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.At least 6 years of relevant work experience in an international organization / NGOs or project: based organizations, donor: funded projects.Demonstrated experience in grants and contracts management.Experience with major donors like USAID, GIZ and/or EU is preferred.Proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel.Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.Knowledge in software solutions (ERP).Desirable certification in Project Management.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish (Advanced level)BenefitsWhat are we offering?
